Leave your phone behind and step into a world that’s fully alive.
Why this exists
For years, the trips that changed me the most weren’t the ones I planned in spreadsheets. They were the ones where I stopped performing, left the phone in the bag, and let the place reach me. The conversations got deeper. The days got longer. The pictures got better because I was actually there.
Unplugged Journeys is my attempt to bottle that — a small group of curious people, a carefully-scouted route, and an agreement to be present. No metrics, no comparison, no agenda. Just a week or two of paying attention to where you are.
What to expect
8–12 travelers per trip. Enough for community, small enough to actually know everyone by the end of day one.
A shared agreement to leave devices in the bag during the day. The world gets loud again when you stop scrolling.
Every stop, meal, host, and detour — walked, driven, or sailed by me first. No templates.
I teach as we go — how to see the light, read a frame, and slow down enough to get the shot. You’ll leave with photos that actually look like the place.
We don’t race checklists. The itinerary is deliberate, but the pace leaves room for the stuff you can’t plan.
No fitness minimums, no experience required. Open to anyone willing to be curious and kind.
